Sykes/Lady Overland Park Golf Complex

Sykes/Lady Overland Park Golf Club is the City of Overland Park's first municipal golf course, opened in 1971 after a 1967 bond measure that passed by only about 80 votes. It is named for council members Ben Sykes and Wendell Lady, who championed public golf and green space in the late 1960s. Floyd Farley designed the original layout, later renovated by Craig Schreiner (1991) and CE Golf Design (2010). The complex also has a par-3 course and practice facilities.
