About Thanksgiving Point Golf Club
Thanksgiving Point Golf Club opened in 1997 in Lehi, Utah, as part of the larger Thanksgiving Point complex founded by Alan and Karen Ashton. Designed by major champion Johnny Miller alongside architect Fred Bliss, the par-72 layout sprawls across more than 200 acres in the Jordan River bottoms, making it one of the largest courses in the state at more than 7,700 yards from the back tees. The routing leans on the river corridor, mature trees and generous elevation change, and Golf Digest ranked it among the nation's top ten new courses the year it opened. It has since hosted notable events including Korn Ferry Tour (formerly Web.com) Utah Championship play, the Utah State Amateur, and a Champions Challenge exhibition. Bentgrass greens with bluegrass-and-rye fairways round out a course regularly cited among Utah's best public tests.
