About Maderas Golf Club
Maderas Golf Club opened in October 1999 in the canyons and oak woodlands north of San Diego near Poway. The par-72 course was a collaboration between six-time PGA Tour winner and 1973 U.S. Open champion Johnny Miller and veteran architect Robert Muir Graves, one of the final designs of Graves's long career. Threading roughly 7,100 yards through dramatic elevation changes, the routing weaves around three lakes, five waterfalls, rock outcroppings, mature groves, and more than 40 acres of natural wildflowers. The demanding, scenic layout quickly drew national attention, appearing on Golf Digest's ranking of America's best public courses and earning a longstanding reputation as one of the top daily-fee experiences in the San Diego region.
