About The Links at Davy Crockett

The Links at Davy Crockett is an 18-hole City of Memphis municipal course that opened in 1961, designed by Harry Isabell, playing to a par of 72 across hilly, wooded terrain in North Memphis's Davy Crockett Park. It opened during the years when Memphis's whites-only municipal golf was being forced open to Black golfers, a process settled by the U.S. Supreme Court's 1963 ruling in Watson v. City of Memphis that ordered immediate desegregation of the city's courses and parks.
