Toddy Brook Golf Course

Est. 2002
Why we love this place

We love Toddy Brook for turning a family farm into a genuine thrill ride. Big elevation drops, a ravine carry, a sunset par five and a closing par three nearly surrounded by water. It is fun, scenic public golf with a homegrown story behind every hole.

About Toddy Brook Golf Course

Toddy Brook Golf Course grew out of the Anderson family farm in North Yarmouth, a rural town north of Portland. The front nine opened in 2002, and the back nine was completed in 2005, giving the public course a full eighteen holes. The family set out to build a course that would be enjoyable for golfers of all abilities, and the old farmland supplied plenty of character: rolling hills, elevation drops of up to 150 feet, and water in play on many holes. The signature fourteenth plays from an elevated tee with broad views and hazards on both sides, the eleventh is a forced-carry par three over a ravine, and the long par-five ninth is remembered for its sunset views. The round closes dramatically with a par-three eighteenth surrounded by water on three sides. Two decades on, the course remains a family-rooted public option in the countryside just beyond the greater Portland area.
