Tullymore Golf Resort

Tullymore opened in 2002 in Stanwood, in central Michigan, and quickly announced itself by being named the country's best new upscale public course by Golf Digest that year. It was designed by Jim Engh, an architect known for bold, unconventional shaping, and it showcases his signature muscle bunkers and bowled, receptive greens. The course winds through more than 800 acres of woods, meadows, and wetlands, using the site's natural water and elevation to frame dramatic, memorable holes. Paired with the neighboring St. Ives course, Tullymore anchors a stay-and-play resort that has become a fixture on Michigan golf-trip itineraries.
