About Turkey Creek Golf Club

Turkey Creek opened in 1978 as a Ward Northrup design in Alachua (earlier known as Gainesville National and Plantation Oaks). It closed around 2011 and sat defunct for roughly a decade before an investor group reopened it to the public in January 2022, making it one of Alachua County's two public courses, with a junior-golf focus.
