About Valley Hi Golf Course

Valley Hi began as a private, members-only club on the southeast side of Colorado Springs, a project of the Pring family; the city dates its construction to 1956. In 1975 the City of Colorado Springs bought the course and opened it to the public, making it the city's second municipal layout alongside Patty Jewett. Club members launched the Springer Championship in 1977 to help fund the newly public course, and the tournament remains a local tradition.
