About Whistling Straits

The Pete Dye–designed Straits Course opened in 1998 along Lake Michigan and hosted three PGA Championships (2004, 2010, 2015). The 2010 edition turned on Dustin Johnson's 72nd-hole bunker penalty. It also hosted the 2021 Ryder Cup, a 19–9 U.S. victory.
