Westin Mission Hills Resort - Pete Dye Course

The Pete Dye Course opened in 1987 as the original layout at what was then the Westin Mission Hills Resort in Rancho Mirage, deep in the Coachella Valley. True to its architect, the desert course is stamped with Dye's trademarks: railroad-tie bulkheads, deep pot bunkers, elevated tees, hidden pin positions and tempting carries over water. Playing to a par of 70 and around 6,700 yards from the tips, it rewards precision and course management over raw length. A Gary Player Signature course joined the property in 1991, making the resort a two-course Palm Springs golf destination. Now operating as the Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa, the Dye layout has earned Golf Magazine resort recognition and remains one of the valley's most character-rich public tests.
