Wine Valley Golf Club

Wine Valley Golf Club opened in 2009 in the wide-open country outside Walla Walla, Washington, less than twenty miles from the Oregon line and surrounded by the wine region that lends the club its name. Designer Dan Hixson, a former club professional, laid the course over rolling grassland with the Blue Mountains as a backdrop, moving very little earth and letting the natural terrain shape the golf. The result is a firm, expansive, links-inspired layout with broad fairways that reward players willing to challenge hazards for the best angle into the greens. Wind is a constant companion across the treeless site. Widely praised as one of the Pacific Northwest's finest public courses, Wine Valley has earned national recognition on multiple top public and modern course rankings for its strategic, minimalist design.
