About Lake Oswego Golf Course
The Lake Oswego Public Golf Course began in the 1960s as an 18-hole par-3 course of about 2,700 yards (sources differ on 1964 vs 1967). The City of Lake Oswego bought it with recreation levy funds. The city closed the course near the end of 2021 to make room for the Lake Oswego Recreation and Aquatics Center, and it reopened on April 26, 2025 as a nine-hole executive course (1,599 yards, par 30) designed by Dan Hixson.
