About Zoar Village Golf Club

Zoar Village Golf Club was started in 1973 by the Frank family, who saw the need for a quality public course near the historic Zoar village. They raised money by selling 100 shares at $1,000 each, brought in architect Geoffrey Cornish, and helped build it themselves, from welding to running heavy equipment. The course opened on April 19, 1975, and hosts regional amateur events.
