About Airport Golf Course

Airport Golf Course is a City of Columbus municipal course that opened in January 1966, designed by Ohio golf architect Jack Kidwell (ASGCA). It sits beside John Glenn Columbus International Airport, giving players tree-lined fairways alongside a steady parade of aircraft. The layout was renovated in 2012 by architect Michael Hurdzan, who had apprenticed under Kidwell. It remains one of the public courses operated by the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department.
