Mentel Memorial Golf Course opened in January 1971 as Bolton Fields Golf Course, a championship layout designed by Ohio architect Jack Kidwell (ASGCA). The 18-hole course features wide tree-lined fairways, undulating greens, three large lakes and dozens of strategically placed bunkers across four sets of tees. It is a public course owned and operated by the City of Columbus Recreation and Parks Department.
