About Alamo City Golf Trail

The Alamo City Golf Trail is the public name of the Municipal Golf Association San Antonio (MGASA), a nonprofit that partnered with the City of San Antonio to operate the city's municipal golf facilities after City Council approved a management agreement in May 2007. The system spans a century of golf, from Brackenridge Park (1916, an A.W. Tillinghast design and long-time Texas Open host) and Willow Springs (1923) to Riverside (1929), Olmos Basin (1963), Northern Hills (1969), and Cedar Creek and Mission del Lago (both 1989). Since 2007 MGASA has funded irrigation, clubhouse, re-grassing and facility upgrades across the system.
