Why we love this place
Apple Greens is Hudson Valley golf at its friendliest: 27 family-run holes winding through working orchards with Catskill and Shawangunk views. Easygoing, scenic and good value, it is a perfect spot for a casual round or a fun day with the family.

About Apple Greens East
Apple Greens Golf Course has been family owned and operated since it opened in 1995 in Highland, in the Town of Lloyd on the west bank of the Hudson River. As the name suggests, it was built in apple country, and mature orchards frame several of its holes. Golf directories credit the design to John Magaletta, who also served as the club's head professional. Apple Greens offers 27 holes in three nines, The Orchard, The Ridge and The Valley, which are paired into 18-hole rounds; The Orchard is known for wide, forgiving fairways. From the higher ground golfers look out toward the Catskill and Shawangunk mountains. Public, family run and reasonably priced, Apple Greens has become a mainstay of Mid-Hudson Valley golf for more than three decades, drawing everyone from beginners on The Orchard to experienced players looking for a quick, scenic round close to home.
