Est. 1963 · Cortlandt Fish
Why we love this place
Three nines, three personalities and a Hudson Valley backdrop that never gets old. We love Beekman for its variety, from the Highland's climb to the Taconic's bite, and for the way a converted pasture became one of Dutchess County's most popular public golf days.

About Beekman Golf Course
Beekman Golf Course sits on Country Club Road in Hopewell Junction, in the rolling hills of Dutchess County in the Hudson Valley. The course was converted from pasture land in 1963 and grew into a 27-hole public facility of three distinct nines, the Highland, Valley and Taconic, which are played in combination as three different eighteens. Directories credit Cortlandt Fish with the design. The Highland nine starts at the clubhouse and climbs gradually to about 510 feet of elevation, the Valley works through lower ground, and the Taconic is generally regarded as the most challenging of the three. With five sets of tees, a driving range and a golf school, the USGA-rated, par-72 combinations welcome golfers of every level.
