Boca Lago Golf & Country Club, a private club west of Boca Raton, was established in the mid-1970s. Its 27-hole layout was originally designed by the Bruce Devlin–Robert von Hagge partnership. The three nine-hole courses underwent an $8 million redesign by architect Jan Bel Jan, recognized with a Best New Course Design award in 2018.
