About Boca Rio Golf Club

Boca Rio is a private club in Boca Raton opened in the mid-1960s by Pittsburgh industrialist Abe Deitch and a small group of financiers. Robert von Hagge designed the bunker-heavy course on roughly 200 acres, and Tommy Armour was its first golf professional. Membership is intentionally small, and the course hosted the inaugural LPGA Gainbridge event in 2020.
