Pelican Marsh Golf Club

Pelican Marsh Golf Club opened in 1994 as the centerpiece of a gated North Naples community, laid out by prolific architect Robert von Hagge, whose global portfolio spans more than 200 courses. The original routing was unusual: nine holes sat north of Pelican Marsh Boulevard and nine to the south, so golfers crossed the road to complete a round. In 1996 the layout was reworked, with additional holes added on each side to form separate courses, and Pelican Marsh took the south eighteen as its own. The par-72 design stretches past 7,000 yards, threading water and preserve areas, and offers multiple tee sets to suit a wide range of players. From 2000 to 2001 the club hosted the Chubb Classic, a stop on the senior Champions Tour, raising its competitive profile.
