Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac was built in the early-to-mid 1970s as a residential golf community with two 18-hole courses, the Cypress and the Pines, designed by Robert von Hagge and Bruce Devlin (Pines opened 1974). Joe T. Jemsek renovated the property around 2016-2019, converting the Pines into a nine-hole layout; the club now plays as a 27-hole facility (Cypress, Oaks and Pines nines).
