Boot Ranch is the Hill Country at its most dramatic, a Hal Sutton design that rides the ridges and creek beds like it was always meant to be there. We love a course shaped by a major champion's own hands, private and polished yet still rugged and unmistakably Texas.

About Boot Ranch
Boot Ranch is a private club set in the rolling Texas Hill Country north of Fredericksburg, roughly an hour from San Antonio. The course was the vision of PGA Tour winner Hal Sutton, the 2004 U.S. Ryder Cup captain, who designed the layout with Jim Lipe and opened it in 2006. The par-72 routing stretches to about 7,150 yards and moves across the property's ridges, canyons and the corridor of Palo Alto Creek, drawing on the natural elevation and granite outcroppings of the region. The original development struggled through the late-2000s recession and changed hands, but under new ownership Boot Ranch was reinvested in and relaunched as an upscale golf and residential community anchored by Sutton's course.
