Brookmeadow Country Club is a family-owned, public 18-hole course in Canton. Founder Frank Simoni, a local builder who took up golf at 47, designed and engineered the course largely himself, opening the first nine in 1967 and expanding to 18 holes a few years later. Simoni owned the club until his death in 1997, and it has remained family-operated.
