Canyon Springs Golf Club is a public/semi-private course north of San Antonio on the former Classen family ranch, designed by Thomas Walker, a former vice president of Gary Player Design. It opened in 1998 and was named "America's Best New Public Golf Course" by Golf Digest and GOLF magazine. The layout runs in two loops through limestone terrain featuring two waterfalls, and is operated by Arcis Golf.
