About Champions Run
Champions Run is a private club in northwest Omaha, originally known as The Champions Club, designed by architect Jeff Brauer and opened in 1992. Brauer routed the par-72 course across rolling ground, layering in hills, mounds, bunkers, trees and water so that many holes ask players to carry a hazard off the tee and to solve visual alignment puzzles on the way to the green. It stretches past 7,200 yards from the back tees and plays as short as roughly 5,300 up front, accommodating a wide range of games. The club gained national exposure by hosting the Cox Classic, a developmental-tour event that returned to Omaha year after year and gave the course a competitive pedigree. Today it remains a member-owned private facility with full practice grounds, dining and a pro shop.
