About Dwan Golf Course

Dwan Golf Course is an 18-hole public course owned and operated by the City of Bloomington. Paul Dwan, MD, a pioneer in pediatric cardiology at the University of Minnesota, donated the land to the city in the late 1960s, and the course opened in 1970, named in his honor. It was designed by David A. Gill, father of golf architect Garrett Gill. It is billed as Bloomington's home course, hosting leagues, charity events, high school competition and up to 60,000 rounds a year.
