About El Campéon

El Campeon at Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills is one of Florida's oldest golf courses, built in 1917 to a design by Chicago architect George O'Neil. In 1926 Scottish architect Charles E. Clarke of Troon redesigned several holes to make it more challenging. The traditional layout is noted for unusual Central Florida elevation changes of more than 85 feet, rolling fairways and undulating greens.
