Private club founded in 1924; the original architect is unknown and had only 77 acres for a par-70 course of 6,450 yards. John LaFoy, an associate of George Cobb, later renovated it in a Donald Ross style. The club hosted the USGA Girls' Junior in 1955 and the USGA Junior Amateur in 1963.
