About Surf Golf & Beach Club

George Cobb designed Surf Golf & Beach Club, which opened in 1960 as one of the Grand Strand's earliest private clubs and its third-oldest course. John LaFoy renovated the greens in 1992, resurfaced them with bentgrass in 1996, and converted them to Champion Bermuda in 2016.
