About Goose Pond Colony - Lake Course

The Lake Course is the original course at Goose Pond Colony, a municipally owned resort on the Tennessee River's Lake Guntersville in Scottsboro. Designed by George W. Cobb, it opened in 1971, the same year as the resort, and offers river views from every hole. The par-72 layout measures about 6,854 yards from the longest tees.
