High Meadows Golf & Country Club is a private 18-hole mountain club in Roaring Gap, in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Developer Robert Glenn Davis scouted the land in 1963 and the club was incorporated July 1, 1964. The course was designed by George W. Cobb (ASGCA) and opened in 1964, with a stream running through it near where the Smith family settled in 1770.
