About Monroe Country Club

Monroe Country Club is a public/semi-private course in Monroe, NC whose front nine was designed by Scottish-born architect Donald Ross and opened to the public in 1936 — noted by the club as the last nine-hole layout Ross designed. The back nine, added by architect Tom Jackson, was completed in 1982, giving the club its full 18 holes. The club markets itself today simply as "A Donald Ross Design."
