About Raleigh Ga
Established in 1929, Raleigh Golf Association is one of North Carolina's oldest public golf courses, built by a group led by businessman-philanthropist A.E. Finley to bring golf to the public on Tryon Road, where it still operates. Architect George W. Cobb added a nine-hole addition in 1958, and the facility now plays 27 holes — 18 open to the public and 9 reserved for stockholders and events. A renovation led by Kris Spence began around 2025.
