About Carolina Cc, Raleigh

Carolina Country Club was founded as "Raleigh Country Club" on April 15, 1910 — the oldest country club in Raleigh — and renamed Carolina Country Club in 1918. The 18-hole championship course is attributed to Donald Ross, with a faithful 1996 renovation by John LaFoy preserving the strategic bunkering and undulating greens. (Distinct from the separate Raleigh Country Club, Ross's 1948 final design.)
