Forest Lake Club

Forest Lake Club is a private 18-hole club in Columbia, South Carolina, founded in 1923 on the old Dents Pond adjacent to a popular Columbia swim club, and approaching its 100-year anniversary. The golf course is generally reported to have opened in the late 1920s (circa 1927-1928). The original course architect is not reliably documented; some listings credit Maurice McCarthy, with later renovation work attributed to Mike Beebe and Billy Fuller, but these attributions are unverified.
