Fort Lauderdale Country Club was established in 1926 on the Fort Lauderdale/Plantation border, one of South Florida's oldest clubs. The original South Course was laid out by Joseph A. Roseman (1926), with the North Course added in 1951 (Red Lawrence); later renovations were by Charles Ankrom and Kipp Schulties. Today it is a private 36-hole club.
