Why we love this place

Mohawk Valley views, Adirondack foothills on the horizon and a layout that has adapted with its neighborhood. We love Fox Run for its wide-open scenery, its welcoming semi-private setup and the relaxed, friendly round that makes Fulton County golf such a pleasant surprise.

About Fox Run Golf Club

Fox Run Golf Club sits on County Highway 142A outside Johnstown, in Fulton County, on high ground with views of the Mohawk Valley and the Adirondack foothills. The course first opened for play in 1981 under the name Alban Hills Golf Club, to a design by Artilio Albanese. It was later renamed Fox Run, and the layout was reworked to make room for the expansion of the neighboring public airport. Today the eighteen holes are presented as a championship course, and the club operates on a semi-private basis, offering memberships while remaining open to the public, with tee-time booking, leagues and outings for golfers from across the Johnstown and Gloversville area.
