About Fresh Pond Golf Course

Officially the Thomas P. O'Neill, Jr. Municipal Golf Course, Fresh Pond is a 9-hole public course owned by the City of Cambridge, tucked beside the Fresh Pond Reservation. Its exact opening (the early 1930s) and original architect are recorded inconsistently — some sources credit Walter Johnson, others Donald Ross — so both remain unconfirmed.
