Heritage Golf Links in Tucker, a few minutes from downtown Atlanta off I-285 and I-85, opened in 1996 as Heritage Golf Club, and Golf Digest nominated it that year as one of the Best New Golf Courses in America. The layout is built around a 20-acre lake with water in play on several holes, over rolling ground with sharp elevation changes, and the club says it carries one of the highest slope ratings in Georgia. The facility had 27 holes; the Legacy and Heritage nines finished a multimillion-dollar renovation in spring 2025, and the Tradition nine is now closed.
