About Butternut Creek Golf Course

Butternut Creek is the municipal course of Blairsville and Union County in the North Georgia mountains, credited to architect Bill Watts, who also worked at Sky Valley and Innsbruck. It began as a nine-hole course and grew to 18 holes; sources disagree on when the original nine opened.
