The course at 204 Saddle Hill Road was originally built in 1962 and operated for decades as the public Saddle Hill Country Club. It was converted to a private club and reopened as Hopkinton Country Club in the summer of 2002 following a redesign by Welsh architect Ian Scott-Taylor, with a further renovation around 2012. It is an 18-hole private club (par 71, roughly 6,678 yards). The original 1962 designer could not be reliably verified.
