About Indian Meadows Golf Course
The Indian Meadows site first operated as an exclusive 9-hole private country club beginning in the 1960s. In the 1980s a housing boom consumed part of the original layout, and in 1990 a group of local investors led by golf professional and superintendent Arthur Billingham bought the remaining land and clubhouse. Billingham designed an entirely new 9-hole regulation course (about 3,250 yards, par 35) that opened in 1991, reflecting a traditionalist, Donald Ross-influenced philosophy.
