Jupiter Island Club

Jupiter Island Club is an intensely private club set on the barrier island of Hobe Sound, on Florida's Treasure Coast between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. The golf course is credited to Indiana architect William Diddel, whose routing has long served the club's exclusive membership. In recent years the layout was sensitively renovated by Jan Bel Jan, one of the game's leading women designers, who refreshed the course while retaining its understated, walkable character. The par-72 course plays to a little over 6,000 yards, favoring shot placement and short-game touch over raw length, with water and bunkering framing several holes and a memorable stretch near the Intracoastal. The club is known less for tournament golf than for its seclusion and old-Florida charm, remaining one of the most quietly prestigious enclaves in the region.
