Lake Powell National opened in September 1995, a William Phillips design on a mesa above Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell, with views of the Vermilion Cliffs. The front nine sits on a lower mesa and the back nine about 300 feet higher. A two-year refurbishment later rebuilt the greens.
