About Le Triomphe Golf and Country Club
Le Triomphe Golf & Country Club is a private club in Broussard, just south of Lafayette in Louisiana's Acadiana region. Founded in 1986, the championship course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., and shortly after opening it drew national praise, with USA Today counting it among the finest American courses built since the early 1960s. The layout threads across bayou-country terrain of water, moss-draped oaks, and subtle movement typical of the coastal south. Le Triomphe became a fixture on professional golf's developmental circuit as host of the Chitimacha Louisiana Open, a long-running Korn Ferry Tour (formerly Ben Hogan, Nike, and Nationwide Tour) event that helped launch numerous PGA Tour careers over three decades. Today the club is operated under Troon management.
