About Linden Hall Country Club

Linden Hall is a Tudor Revival mansion built for Sarah B. Cochran between 1909 and 1911. The estate was sold to the St. James Country Club in 1957 and developed as a country club in the 1960s and 1970s, then sold to the United Steelworkers in 1976. The 18-hole, par-72 course, credited to Pete Snead and dated to 1959, covers about 400 acres of the 785-acre estate.
