Los Caballeros opened in 1979 beside Rancho de los Caballeros, a family-owned guest ranch in Wickenburg that dates to 1948. Greg Nash and Jeff Hardin designed the course, which plays to about 7,000 yards through the high desert. It has long been one of Arizona's best-regarded public-access courses.
