Luna Vista Golf Course

Luna Vista Golf Course, formerly the L.B. Houston Municipal Golf Course, is a public course in Dallas. The City of Dallas acquired the land in 1963 and the course opened in 1969, reportedly built by city employees. It was redesigned, reopened and renamed Luna Vista in October 2012, playing today as a par-72 layout of about 6,800 yards. Sources disagree on the original architect, so the designer is not firmly established. Operated by Dallas Park & Recreation.
