About Marfa Municipal Golf Course
Marfa Municipal Golf Course is a city-owned nine in Presidio County built in 1961 and billed as the highest golf course in Texas, with the Chinati Mountains as backdrop. The par-36, 3,265-yard layout has small elevated greens, water on two holes and thick summer Bermuda rough, and is open year-round at very low green fees.
